Race data is useful when it answers a clear question quickly. Start with the event name and track, then check the winner and team. After that, look at the fastest lap, speed note, or key stat.

Start with context

The same speed number can mean different things at Monza, Mugello, Spa, or a rally stage. Track length, weather, tire choice, fuel load, and format all matter.

Compare like with like

Compare Formula 1 to Formula 1, MotoGP to MotoGP, and rally records to rally records. Mixed-category comparisons are fun, but they need explanation.

Keep source notes

When you replace sample data with real records, keep your source links in a private note or add a visible source field later. It will make corrections much easier.
